This research cluster gathers three Graduate Institute's thematics: “Human Rights”, “Humanitarianism” and “Justice, Equity & Inclusion”.
“Human Rights” questions the universalism of civil, political, sexual and social rights and contextualises the study of advocacy and resistance in authoritarian, populist or democratic regimes
“Humanitarianism” tackles issues related to the management of global emergencies and disasters, the changing justifications for foreign interventions and the spread of the responsibility-to-protect paradigm.
“Justice, Equity & Inclusion” delves into philosophical, legal and political issues dealing with the design, implementation and monitoring of policies aimed at decreasing inequality and poverty in their multiple facets.
