Global Governance Centre

The Global Governance Centre is dedicated to promoting critical reflection on the institutions, orthodoxies and practices that shape and organise global governance. It is also committed to exploring the visible and invisible problems of global governance, and encouraging the development of novel, creative and relevant ideas to address these.

Combining expertise from across the Graduate Institute’s academic disciplines, the Global Governance Centre promotes beyond state-of-the-art, transdisciplinary, and policy-relevant debates on the transformations of the way the world is being governed, what this means in terms of order-making, accountability, inclusivity and the possibility of reintegrating ethics into scientific, technological and ecological governance.

Making the most of its special location in International Geneva, the Centre is a critical forum for scholars, decision-makers, policy practitioners and the interested public to engage in a continuous, constructive and productive dialogue.
