The panel will present different perspectives of Afrolatinos in relation to their identity and gender and their participation and experiences in the academia, activism, public, and private spaces.
The panel will be followed by three breakout sessions to allow participants to interact which will be divided by language: Spanish, Portuguese and English. Attendees will have the option to attend a session of their preference. The breakout session will be moderated by students of The Graduate Institute. This event is free and open to the public. Interpretation to Spanish, English and Portuguese will be available.
