In the context of Human Rights Day, 10 December 2019, Kevin Lehne, Master in International Affairs, explains the role of the Queer International Student Assembly (QISA) at the Institute and the importance of initiatives such as this one in the development and awareness of universal human rights.
On Friday, 13 December 2019, QISA, along with the Gender Centre and the Student Initiative on Asia will screen TAIPEILOVE, a documentary on the perception of homosexuality in Taiwanese society and the fight for same-sex marriage.
The film will be followed by an interactive discussion with TAIPEILOVE's director, Lucie Liu, followed by an apéro.
