Profile
Dario De Quarti is a PhD Candidate in Development Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute. His research focuses on understanding the drivers of economic resilience in developing and fragile economies.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Dario worked on Trade Market Intelligence at the International Trade Centre and assisted in Economic Research at the World Trade Organization. His work ranged from trade financing in developing economies to market intelligence for SMEs and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling.
Dario holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute in 2022 (5.7/6.0, first-class honours), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne - HEC (5.85/6.0, first-class honours) in 2020.
