PROFILE
 

Angelo Kruger is a PhD Researcher in International Relations and Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. His research interests lie in the international political economy of investment and trade, international organizations, and Chinese overseas finance. Specifically, he is interested in the effects Chinese investment has on existing economic relations between industrialized and developing countries. Angelo holds an MA in International Relations from Central European University (CEU) in Vienna and a BA in History, Politics, and Sociology from the University of Potsdam. Previously, he has completed research visits to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management and National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei, with field research conducted in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Presevo and Bujanovac, Serbia. Additionally, he completed internships with Oxford Analytica’s North America Desk in New York and the German Federal Parliament in Berlin.
