For seven weeks, from April 2 until May 18, the Eisenhower Fellows will crisscross the United States, pursuing individual projects and engaging in transformative exchanges of knowledge and ideas with leading thinkers in their respective fields, before convening in Philadelphia to share observations.

A specialist in applied microeconomics and development, Professor Viarengo’s research focuses on comparative education policy, gender and international migration. She has examined education policy, gender gaps and labor market outcomes in the OECD and developing countries in trying to better understand how to reduce poverty and inequality.
