The event is opened by Jacques Forster, President of HQAI, and moderated by Gilles Carbonnier, Director of Studies at the Graduate Institute and CCDP Faculty Associate.
Dr. Puri's talk will focus on what we are learning about effective international action, as informed by state-of-the-art methods of impact evaluation. She will discuss ways in which biases creep into our work, particularly in regards to quality of action. Dr. Puri will investigate the role of data and designs while planning and implementing international programs, and on policies that can help mitigate these biases. She will highlight how international organizations can effectively enhance learning and uptake.
This public lecture is part of a larger learning event questioning if we are measuring the right thing and how: "Impartiality and impact - do we have the right tools to measure them?"
