PFAS in Europe: A Violation of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

"The research is aimed at exploring the environmental determinants of sexual and reproductive health and rights in women and pregnant persons, particularly in Europe.
The research focuses on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a group of more than 4000 man-made chemical compounds largely used in a variety of industrial processes and products. Known as “forever chemicals”, PFAS are highly persistent and ubiquitously distributed in the environment, and can be traced in humans with potentially detrimental/severe impacts on health. "
