LESSONS FROM COVID-19: Existing challenges affecting education during COVID-19 and strategies to address disruptions for future emergencies

Faced with Covid-19, the world's education systems have been disrupted. With the risk of the world facing further health crises, strengthening education preparedness to deal with future emergencies to minimize their impact on children's learning and well-being is a priority. The project analyzes existing emergency education coordination preparedness tools and resources to determine how "fit for purpose" they are in responding to COVID-19 and Ebola. Plus, it distills key findings into lessons learned and recommendations to strengthen emergency education coordination preparedness efforts.
