This report analyses the nexus between gender ambition and climate action to understand the level of gender ambition in existing policies and to provide recommendations on the Gender-Just Transitions Outcomes Framework, a tool developed by the GGKP Gender Expert Group. The Framework is applied to UNFCCC Nationally Determined Contributions and select project-level case studies, including Lao PDR, Burkina Faso, Saint Lucia and Colombia. Following the findings are recommendations for realizing transformative ambitions for gender equality in climate action.
