Students Present Capstone Projects at Palais des Nations for Geneva Peace Week

Within the framework of the 2019 Geneva Peace Week, held from 4-8 November, 16 groups of students from the Institute’s interdisciplinary master programme presented their Capstone Projects at the United Nations in the presence of Ela Gandhi during an event called “Fresh Perspectives on Peace and Security”.

Their projects covered a wide range of topics, including: humanitarianism, inclusivity and feminist perspectives; youth, resilience and urban frontiers for peace; human rights, peacebuilding and the Sustaining Peace agenda; and business, technology and peace.

Capstone Projects are a unique pedagogical experience where small groups of graduate students work with partners from International Geneva to conduct research projects that respond to today's global challenges.
