PROFILE

 

PhD, Nuffield College, Oxford

Damien Neven obtained Master’s degree in Economics and a BA in geography from the University of Louvain. He has been teaching at INSEAD, the University of Brussels, the College of Europe and the the University of Lausanne. His main research areas are competition economics and international economic integration. He has recently been focusing on the latter with a special interest for the law and economics of enforcement and international coordination. He has acted as Chief Competition economist at the directorate general for competition of the EU commission in Brussels from September 2006 until May 2011.
