Whether you know exactly where you are heading after your studies or still considering different career options, we are here to provide you with advice, tools and tips to support your professional development during your journey at the Institute.

Workshops and career events


We organise workshops to share general information, career tips and industry-specific advice with our students, as well as connexion events with employers and our alumni network. Our professional development workshops will run on a weekly basis from the first week of November 2019 and cover the following topics:

Do you need to discuss your personal career plan, perform a mock interview or feel like you could benefit from a professional coaching or mentoring session? Our career advisers Aline and Alizé are here to help you! Counselling sessions are designed to be complementary to our weekly professional development workshops and students are encouraged to attend workshops before booking an appointment.

meet your career services advisers


Aline has nine years of experience in counselling and placing international students in the public and third sectors of La Genève Internationale (including IOs, NGOs, UN agencies, diplomatic missions, etc.). As a certified professional coach, she also has five years of experience in career transition and professional development. She studied abroad for three years (Barcelona and Austin,Texas) and speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently. She holds a master’s degree in International Business Negotiations from the Université d'Avignon et Pays du Vaucluse, and she is certified in Personal and Professional Coaching from la Haute Ecole de Coaching of Paris.



Alizé holds a Bachelor in Management from Warwick Business School and a Master in Development Management from the London School of Economics. She has worked for over four years in the SDG investing sector, including two years in South America. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship and has supported various impact projects as consultant but also entrepreneur, setting up non-profit and humanitarian projects in Nepal, Peru, Colombia and Switzerland. Aside from her work at the Institute, Alizé is a mentor in crowdfunding for impact and designs workshops on environmental sustainability and circular economy for the private sector. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
