PhD Economics 2014, London School of Economics
Johannes Boehm is Professor of International Economics and also a research fellow of CEPR (London) and CEP, LSE. He conducts research and teaches on topics related to international trade, industrial development, growth, firms, as well as on macroeconomics and environmental economics. He joined the Graduate Institute in 2024 and was previously a professor at Sciences Po, Paris. He has held visiting positions at Princeton, Harvard, and INSEAD. His current research focuses on the role that trade and trade networks play in the process of growth, and on policies that can foster both the development of industrial capabilities and enhance economic resilience in the face of adverse conditions, including geopolitical risk and climate change.
