Jean d’Aspremont is Professor of International Law and International Legal Theory at Sciences Po Law School and at the University of Manchester. He is General Editor of the Cambridge Studies in International and Comparative Law and of the Melland Schill Series in International Law. He is Director of Oxford International Organizations (OXIO). He has published more than 20 books and 180 articles on questions of international law and international legal theory. Several of his articles and monographs have been translated in several languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Japanese and Persian. His current research focuses on the history of ideas, the critique of the modernity of international law, post-structuralist philosophy, approaches to textuality as well as international law and literature.
