Research Interest
Tilda is currently intrigued by examining issues concerning women's reproductive health in Zimbabwe's male-dominated artisanal gold mining communities. She is interested in exploring women's experiences in these areas by examining politics and power relations, economic engagement, social roles, experiences, and practices. She seeks to investigate how all these factors are linked to women's reproductive health. Methodologically, Tilda is more interested in engaging with oral histories, ethnography, archival material, and interviews to comprehensively understand women's historical and present experiences in these contexts.
