Siddhant is a Research Assistant at the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding. He is a PhD Candidate in Development Economics at the Graduate Institute and holds a Masters in International Economics from the Graduate Institute as well as a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Madras, India.

He previously worked as a research assistant for a Member of Parliament, engaging in desk research and extensive stakeholder interaction. His primary research fields are development economics, applied econometrics, and conflict economics. His Master's thesis was focused on armed conflict in northeast India, analysing the existence of a correlation between educational attainment indicators and the incidence of fatal conflict events.

At the CCDP, Siddhant works as a Research Assistant for the Swiss Programme for Research on Global Issues for Development (r4d programme) project on Curbing Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) from Resource-Rich Developing Countries.
