Sandrine Cina is a passionate social entrepreneur whose core mission is to help organisations, institutions, and engaged citizens take action on gender and LGBTIQ+ topics. Over the past 13 years, she has been deeply committed to improving the lives of LGBTIQ+ youth in Switzerland, by designing and leading nationwide change-making programmes in the fields of education, business, entrepreneurship, and the arts.
Her organisation, the Be You Network, empowered over 600k people to become active allies for the LGBTIQ+ community, in Switzerland and abroad. Cina has received over 10 national and international social impact awards for her work, including the “Young Alumna Award'' of the Institute in 2019 and the “Davos 50” recognition of the World Economic Forum in 2015. She raised over CHF 6.7M in philanthropic funding to improve the lives of the LGBTIQ+ community and help make inclusion a reality.
