Melita Leousi is the Managing Director of The Swiss Lab for Sustainable Finance. She was previously employed for the World Economic Forum (WEF) working in the area of International Organisations and Government Affairs. She was responsible for the WEF's highest level meetings (IGWEL) held in Davos and managed the ‘Future of Government’ Global Agenda Council. She was also responsible for the publication of the ‘Future of Government Smart Toolbox,’ a WEF publication addressing the role of technology in increasing government efficiency, a project sponsored by the UAE government and launched during the UAE Government Summit. She also held several positions as an Adviser to the Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and as an intern for CSIS and the United Nations in New York.
Melita Leousi graduated with Distinction from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a Master of Science in Foreign Service, and received her PhD in Social Sciences from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford.
