Maroussia Ferry is an anthropologist by training, with a PhD from the EHESS in Paris obtained in 2018. Her doctoral research focused on female migration from post-Soviet Georgia, through which she explored the recomposition of gender relations and moral economies in a post-crisis world. Since finishing her PhD, Maroussia Ferry has been an assistant lecturer at the EHESS-Marseille, where she coordinated a collective research project on migration and colonial memory in the city. Her post-doctoral research focuses on the ethnographic study of kinship networks and the moral economy of transgression in Marseille, France.
