Abstract:
My dissertation offers an interpretation of the works of economic and accounting thinkers tied to the first higher education institution devoted to commercial studies in Italy. Such works are interpreted as a manifestation of calculative thinking, belonging to the history of metaphysics as intended by Martin Heidegger. More broadly, my research is currently concerned with the concept of calculative thinking and its manifestations throughout history.
