Profile
Maddalena Matrone is a PhD candidate in International Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. Her research interests are centered on Macroeconomics, Monetary Policy, and Gender. Before beginning the PhD, she worked as a Research Associate at the Evaluation Lab of the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale, and as a Research Assistant at the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality. In 2022, she obtained a Master’s degree (MSc) in Politics and Policy Analysis with honors from Bocconi University, following a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Economics with honors from University of Rome Tor Vergata.
