Profile

Luiz holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and is currently pursuing a master's in International Affairs at IHEID. He joined CIES in February 2022 as part of the SNF Eccellenza Project "AnthropoSouth: Latin American Oil Revolutions in the Development Century", led by Professor Antoine Acker. His main interests are contemporary history and politics in Latin America.
