Haris Huremagić is a PhD Researcher in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute. He holds a Magister iuris degree (combined Bachelor and Master of Laws) from the University of Vienna, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Michigan Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Slavonic Studies from the University of Vienna. During his studies, he spent an exchange year at Sciences Po Paris and worked as a research assistant at the Department of International Law at the University of Vienna and at the University of Michigan Law School. Subsequently, Haris worked as a Judicial Fellow at the International Court of Justice and as a Legal Officer in the Office of the Legal Adviser of the Austrian Foreign Ministry. In this capacity, he has served as counsel for the Republic of Austria in inter-state dispute settlement proceedings before the International Court of Justice and the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Haris is admitted to the New York Bar.
