Davidzo is a first-year PhD student in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute and a research assistant for the SNSF Ambizione project, Law by Colour Code: Locating Race and Racism in International Law. Her research examines the interplay between law, the rights of nature, and Indigenous sovereignty from a Khoi-San perspective. Her research interests include critical approaches to international law, particularly Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL), international environmental law, and the legal implications of indigeneity.
Davidzo employs an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating anthropology into her legal studies through a minor in Anthropology and Sociology. She is an editor for Völkerrechtsblog, which focuses on public international law. She co-chairs the South Africa Branch of the International Law Association (SABILA) Network for Young Scholars and Practitioners, fostering collaboration among emerging scholars.
She holds an LLB cum laude and an LLM from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
