Arnaud Danjean is a distinguished expert with extensive experience in foreign affairs, defence, security, and intelligence. He served as an elected Member of the European Parliament for 15 years, specialising in EU external policies, decision-making processes, and defence issues.
Before his parliamentary tenure, he spent 14 years as a French civil servant at the French External Intelligence Directorate (DGSE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on South-Eastern Europe and crisis management in the Balkans. Arnaud’s career includes numerous missions in crisis areas such as the Balkans, Sahel, Afghanistan, Caucasus, and the Horn of Africa, involving parliamentary, diplomatic, intelligence, and electoral observation activities.
