Profile
I received my PhD in Philosophy in April 2023 from the University of Geneva, where I was a member of the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences. My thesis, entitled “On Strength of Will”, was supervised by Profs. Julien Deonna (Geneva) and Richard Holton (Cambridge). During my PhD, I spent some time at the universities of Cambridge and Neuchâtel as a visiting researcher.
I specialize in the philosophy of mind (especially consciousness and the will) and moral psychology (especially rationality), but my interests also lie in ethics, political philosophy, and the vulgarization of analytic philosophy in and out of academia.
