PROFILE
 

Antigoni joined the Global Health Centre in September 2022 as part of the support team.  

Prior to joining the Global Health Centre, Antigoni worked with Médecins Sans Frontières and other international non-governmental organizations planning and implementing public health interventions in Yemen, South Sudan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Myanmar, and Bangladesh among other countries. During the 2015 European migrant crisis she helped scale up activities in Thessaloniki before leading MSF’s response on the island of Samos. More recently she worked with Action for Development in Geneva, where she contributed to project proposals and coordinated an evaluation of a health clinic in Afghanistan.

Before her work in the humanitarian public health field, Antigoni worked managing transport and logistics projects as well as real estate and construction projects in the private sector in Greece.

She holds an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as an MSc in Real Estate and Construction Management and a BSc in Business Administration.
