Alexander Wolffenbuttel is a PhD student in International Law at The Graduate Institute Geneva specializing in International Criminal Law, Humanitarian Law, and Human Rights Law. He currently works as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford Blavatnik School of Government.
He previously worked as a Junior Legal Affairs Officer in the Trade and Environment Division of the World Trade Organization and as a Legal Assistant at the United Nations International Law Commission. He has been a Legal Consultant at the International Criminal Court for the Yekatom Defense team. Wolffenbuttel received his master's degree from Columbia University and currently pursues an MSt. degree at The University of Oxford.
