Abha Calindi is a PhD researcher in International History and Politics at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Her research bridges critical theory with praxis, centering on the intersection of history and contemporary security policy, examining the genealogies of security policy and right-wing populism, tracing securitisation and counterinsurgency techniques from the 1950s to the present. Abha brings professional experience from the World Trade Organization, the UNHCR in Geneva, and the UK Delegation to UNESCO in Paris. She is a holds an MPhil in Politics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics from the University of Warwick.
