On Thursday, 25 July, members of the Zurich Chapter of Graduate Institute Alumni were welcomed at Avenir Suisse's headquarters, by its vice-Director, Mr Samuel Rutz.

Mr Rutz presented some of the "44 ideas for Switzerland" that Avenir Suisse is promoting to ensure a liberal future of the country. The focus was put on "the job market and migration", a topic which is sure to generate a great deal of discussion in the coming months in lieu of the ongoing political debate about the free movement of people and its implications on the Swiss job market and infrastructure.

Mr Rutz’s presentation was followed by a lively discussion. Members of the Zurich Chapter continued the event at "Frau Gerolds Garten" over drinks.

Dennis and Alexander, leaders of the Chapter, wish to thank all the participants for coming on 25 July:  “We appreciated the participation of those in who came. They motivated us to start organising the next event. We already have some ideas, but any suggestions are welcome. We look forward to other interesting events,” they said.
