Building resilient migration management systems: Developing a World Migration Report digital toolkit for policy officials
To maximize the use of migration research and analysis for policy officials working on international migration, the International Organization for Migration’s Migration Research Division and the Graduate Institute’s Global Migration Centre partnered in view to develop a digital toolkit for policy officials that draws on the contents of the IOM flagship World Migration Report.
The project received generous support from the Geneva Science-Policy Interface via its 2021 competitive funding round.
The first phase of the project is completed. This preliminary research was lead by Dr. Cecilia Cannon and involved PhD Researcher Rodolfo Ribeiro Coutinho Marques of the Global Migration Centre, who gathered insights from policy officials working on international migration at the country level and at Permanent Missions to the United Nations in Geneva.
