Prof. Isabelle Schulte-Tenckhoff met with Language of Diplomacy students of Macalester College (Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA) and two of their professors on 23 May 2017.
The discussion focused on the role of anthropology in the study of international organisations and diplomacy, as well as the various research interests pursued in the ANSO Department, especially in light of its proximity to Genève internationale.
The students were thrilled by their visit to the Graduate Institute.
Dianna Shandy wrote: "It [the meeting] was really a highlight of our visit to Geneva. We overheard a few students already saying they planned to apply for grad school with the Institute! Students also, of their own volition, have been moving our collective conversation toward the importance of meeting strong, accomplished, inspiring women during our visit."
