Sustainable Economy: Harnessing innovation, finance and skills for the low-carbon transition
From 6th to 8th April 2022, the team of the NRP73 "Financing cleantech" research project, led by Joëlle Noailly (CIES) and Gaétan de Rassenfosse (EPFL), organised a research retreat, titled Sustainable Economy: Harnessing innovation, finance and skills for the low-carbon transition.
The interactive research retreat was an occasion for different project members and researchers to present their research papers and findings on cleantech topics. The three-day workshop featured presentations by Laura Nowzohour (CIES), Myra Mohnen (University of Ottawa), Julien Daubanes (University of Geneva), Maria Alsina Pujols (University of Zürich), Leon Bremer (VU Amsterdam), Eugenie Dugoua (LSE), Marion Dumas (LSE), and Gabriele Cristelli (EPFL). Antoine Dechezlepretre (OECD) and Adam Jaffe (Brandeis) also gave keynote presentations on 'Driving low-carbon innovation for climate neutrality' and 'Technology policy and climate change'.
The research retreat was the last project workshop before the end of the 5-year project later this year.
