CFD-GIIA survey on sustainable finance and impact investing
In collaboration with the Graduate Institute's Centre for Finance and Development (CFD), the Geneva Impact Investing Association (GIIA) designed a survey to better understand students' and staff’s interests and level of understanding in impact investing. The survey consists of 6 questions and it will take 5 minutes to complete.
With the new specialized track in Sustainable Finance and Development within the Master in International Economics, which was launched in September 2021, the survey will assist in analysing the IHEID community’s understanding towards impact investment and planning our future endeavours on sustainable finance.
We would appreciate if you could fill in the survey below. Thank you.

Why are sustainable finance and impact investing important?
The global financial system plays an important role in shaping the world we live in. Sustainable finance goes beyond the traditional focus on profits and losses to take the social and environmental consideration into account when making investment decisions.
Along the same line, impact investing steps up to channel capital to investments which deliver positive social and environmental impact alongside financial returns. To achieve this, it is pivotal to advance collaborative efforts between the financial industry, development sectors and public authorities.
The Graduate Institute, which has been an advocate to bridge the academia, private, public and international sectors to facilitate the collective transformation, is proud to be a part of Building Bridges to continue its contribution towards finance for sustainability - at the forefront of international relations and development issues.
