The Manila Chapter met 10 August 2013 and enjoyed Swiss delicacies fondue and fendant, with special guest and Graduate Institute alumnus Mr Evan P. Garcia (1981), former Ambassador of the Philippines to the United Nations in Geneva, and the current Under Secretary of Policy for Foreign Affairs.

Mr Garcia delighted the members of the chapter with stories and discussions about Geneva in the late 1970s and early 1980s, life as a diplomat in Washington DC and in Geneva, Philippines-China relations, and other foreign affairs issues.
