Lori Gonnu named Chairman of the Board of technology company

The Alumna’s new role at Momac is another step in her accomplished career.

Lori Gonnu, who obtained a degree in Economics from the Institute in 1984, was recently named Chairman of the board at Momac, based in Rotterdam Netherlands. She is also currently Chief Executive Officer of Boldair Consulting International, a telecommunications consultancy located in the Paris area.

Lori has held global leadership responsibilities in the mobile telecommunications industry for more than 20 years and is a member of Women Corporate Directors and the "Women on Board" committee supporting the European Commission's initiative to increase presence of women on boards.

Previously, Lori was Executive Director of the International Division of SFR/Vodafone, responsible for the financial, regulatory, commercial and marketing aspects of the business as well as the development of international products and services.

From 2009 to 2011, she was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Syniverse Technologies (a world-wide service provider to the mobile industry).

She served on the Executive Management Committee of the GSM Association (a global association of mobile operators) for more than ten years.

Lori Gonnu attributes her success to her creativity and her communication skills. When she is not carrying out consulting duties, she volunteers her time with 1001 Fontaines pour l'Avenir, an organisation that brings clean water to villages in Cambodia and Madagascar.

Lori has dual citizenship (USA, France). She holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Wellesley College, USA, a Masters degree in International Economics from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and from the Graduate Institute, and an MBA from INSEAD.
