Leading the charge: 100 women in global health

Who are the women leaders of global health? We’ve counted 100 and going strong!

This question formed the basis of a 26-day Twitter campaign designed to showcase female leadership at the forefront of global health, initiated by the Global Health Programme’s Director, Ilona Kickbusch.

In response, Twitter users from around the world used the hashtag #wgh100 to nominate the leaders they believe are prime examples of the invaluable work done by women in advancing global health. With the limit set at 100 (for now!) the list below provides an overview of who was nominated, by whom, their affiliations, and how you can connect with them on Twitter.

Discover, tweet, and share the first list of the 100 Women Leaders in Global Health.
