The two institutions, reputed for their studies and research in European and international affairs, will increase academic cooperation and exchanges, involving their students, faculty and staff.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, the Graduate Institute and the EUI and will organise master student exchanges, with the first cohort travelling from Geneva to Florence (Master in Transnational Governance) and vice-versa. Furthermore, the two institutions will explore options for a dual Master’s in Transnational Governance and International Relations.

Through these shared activities, the two partners aim to contribute to impactful solutions for policy challenges and opportunities such as climate change, inequalities (including gender), population growth, innovation and sustainable development.
