The Weapons Law Encyclopaedia is now available online.

The Encyclopaedia is a project of the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. It aims to provide accurate, up-to-date information on weapons, the effects of their use, and their regulation under international and national law, in a format that is accessible to non-specialists.

The project was initiated in December 2012 with the generous support of the Austrian Foreign Ministry and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. The Encyclopaedia was launched publicly on 2 December 2013. It is available for download as a paid iPhone/iPad 'app', the development of which was funded by the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
