Eurasia and China’s Belt & Road Initiative: Potential Impact, Potential Disputes, and How to Address Them

Professor Lanxin Xiang participated in a recorded public event held at Columbia University on September 19, 2019, where speakers discussed the expansion of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) across Eurasia.

About the event

As well as discussing the expansion of this initiative, speakers also analysed the risks of conflict and dispute that the promoters of the Initiative might have to address.

This event was organized by the Istanbul Policy Center – Stiftung Mercator Initiative at Sabancı University, together with Columbia University’s Sakıp Sabancı Center for Turkish Studies, Harriman Institute, ISERP, Weatherhead East Asian Institute, and Columbia Global Centers ǀ Istanbul.
