The conference organized by the MAPS Network and National & Kapodistrian University of Athens will discuss the controversial EU policy in outsourcing and externalizing migration management with third states drawing upon the expertise of invited speakers. The webinar will endeavour to unpack some of the main challenges presented by such practices and policies. It will evolve on two primary questions, one relating to the experience gained from such practices to date and the second, where Vincent Chetail will intervene as keynote speaker, will attempt to identify possible pathways for the future. The proceedings will be streamed live on Facebook through the MAPS and Athens PIL websites.
