The Graduate Institute's Center for Finance and Development and the International Labour Organisation hosted on Friday, July the 7th, the workshop on Job Creation and Inclusive Growth: China's Experience and International Evidence.
The distinguish participation of ILO specialists, researchers from the Institute of Structural Research, and distinguished scholars from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Geneva, University of Zurich, and The Graduate Institute Geneva, offered a unique opportunity to share experiences, research and views on China labour market. Presentations and discussions were concentrated on three main axis: Jobs and Inclusive Growth - Towards a Comprehensive Employment Policy Framework; Wages, Productivity and Growth; and Labour Market Institutions and Job Creation.
This workshop represents the starting point of a new collaboration between the Graduate Institute and the International Labour Office.
