Abstract: This presentation will showcase some examples of work in the intersecting space of research, digital humanities and journalism. It will demonstrate potential methods to make archival material accessible and engaging to varied audiences—including researchers, data enthusiasts, and non-specialist internet users.
Bio: Sohnee Harshey is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Earlier in her professional career, she was part of the founding teams of the Economic and Political Weekly’s digital initiative, Engage and The Third Eye portal, a feminist thinktank and learning platform.
