Ambizione Fellowships at the International Law Department

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) awards Ambizione grants for postdoctoral researchers who wish to conduct, manage and lead an independent project at a Swiss higher education institution. They are awarded for up to four years. and the next deadline for applications is 1 November 2024.

The Graduate Institute’s International Law Department is happy to host Ambizione Fellows and to support applications. 
If you are interested in applying to an Ambizione project hosted with the Department, please send us a file comprising the following elements:

  • a summary of your project (max 2 pages),

  • a CV including list of publication and two names of referents

  • three writing samples (e.g., recent publications)

  • evaluations of teaching and syllabi (if available)

  • and a preliminary draft of the project proposal.

All candidates’ files will be discussed by the department faculty, with a decision on support by mid-September 2024.
