The Graduate Institute Alumni Geneva Chapter and the Institute’s Alumni Office co-organised a roundtable on Risk Assessment/Risk Management on Thursday 21 February. At the event, the Geneva Chapter welcomed three Alumni who are currently professionals in the risk sector.
The platform provided an occasion for Alumni and current students to exchange experiences and allowed students to raise questions on possible career paths, the role of risk managers, on human rights, environment, cyber security and numerous other questions. The event resulted in a lively discussion.
Guest speakers included Eran Banon, founder and CEO of RedLine Security SA, Aline Duperrex, underwriter at Garant Insurance Company, and Gagik Sargsyan, founder and director of Polixis, a Geneva based political risk analysis and consulting firm.
During their presentations, each of the speakers highlighted that the academic background students gain at the Institute is a significant asset in the professional world.
