Agreement between the Geneva Graduate Institute and Munk School

The Geneva Graduate Institute has renewed its agreement with the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto

The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy is a leading academic institution dedicated to studying global issues, public policy, and international affairs. Located within the University of Toronto’s St George campus and part of the Faculty of Arts & Science, the school was established in 2010, though its roots trace back to earlier international studies programmes at the University of Toronto.

The first agreement between the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Munk School was established in 2019, and it has now been renewed in 2025. Since 2019, 9 Institute students have been on exchange to Munk School, and 6 Munk School students have been on exchange to the Institute.

Minwoo Ki, Master Student in International and Development Studies (MINT) with a specialty in “Environment and Sustainability”, spent a semester at Munk School in autumn 2024, and says of the experience:

My time in the exchange program at the Munk School of Public Policy allowed me to explore the Canadian perspective on international development, learning about diverse aspects of environment and sustainability under the Canadian context. The diverse, engaging environment at the Munk School broadened my horizon on international development policy issues, deepening my understanding of public policy on topics such as the transition to net-zero, (while providing me with the skills to think critically and collaborate effectively in developing sustainable solutions.)
