Description

In conjunction with World Refugee Day, the Liminality Research Consortium is pleased to invite you to a public event to launch its multi-country report on Transactional Sex and Health Repercussions in Forced Displacement. The event will be held on 20 June 2024, from 15:00 to 17:30 at the Geneva Graduate Institute.

During this event, the team will present findings from its research conducted across five countries, highlighting the gendered drivers, patterns, and sexual and reproductive health and mental health implications of transactional sex. The event will feature contextual insights from its country lead researchers and foster an engaging dialogue with various stakeholders, including policymakers from UN agencies, community organisations, and civil society representatives. The focus will be on the implications of our findings for policy and programming aimed at improving the health and well-being of people in forced displacement.

Please register through this link to attend in person at the Geneva Graduate Institute or online.

CO-HOSTED by

The Gender Centre, the Global Health Centre's International Geneva Global Health Platform and the Liminality Research Consortium.
