Adam Cooper is the Director of the Centre Humanitarian Dialogue’s programme (HD) on Digital Conflict. Before working for HD, he used to coordinate election observation missions in Asia and served as an advisor to President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives. At HD, he hosts The Mediator’s Studio podcast series and ran HD’s Myanmar operations for seven years, establishing tracks of negotiations with ethnic armed groups and responding to the Rohingya crisis.

The purpose of the TechSec coffee chat series is to bring in experts, practitioners, researchers and other great thinkers to offer IHEID students networking opportunities and insights about the forefront of digital technologies and policymaking. To facilitate a more personal experience and exchange with the speaker, this event is open to a limited number of students (mandatory registration through the link below).
